Away at Burscough

Post by Nigelbarlow22 on Wed 23 Sep 2015, 07:45

Another disappointing game, our defending was pretty abysmal in the first half and we could have conceded more goals.

Saying that two wonderful chances right at the end of the half could have let back in.

The half time team talk seemed to settle us down, with a much better performance after the break thigh I don't understand the rational of taking creative players off when we need goals.

A consolation at the end for Brandon, thigh he was lucky to get the rebound after a poor penalty.

Report on the game is here if anyone is interested

No change last night then, and not looking like we will do much different against Lancaster.

Lancaster is a whole new ball game. If we can get some support behind the team we can win this and go through. I can see it now in the 3rd round proper v a prem team, and then I woke up....but just maybe

Same for other teams, same for Glossop NE and they are out of the cup. (They usually get 300 ish). I think a lot depends on the weather.
You never know, we are due a good cup run, remember all the big teams over the years we almost got, Ipswich etc. This time we'll come good .... honest
