So tomorrow we face the side 2nd in the league and with games in hand to go top.

Can we do them?

It's not going to be easy tonight but if we take the confidence generated on Saturday, then we could get something from the game

They say the league table never lies and sadly it certainly didn't last night. 5-0 down at home to any side in the same league in less than half an hour is nothing short of embarrassing.

Good run by Moke to set up our goal but other than that it's hard to find any positives.

Team Selection wasn't great, of those three that started in midfield non of them seem defensive minded, meaning the team was very unbalanced. Could of done with having Sharry in there.

First goal was very poor, second and third not much better but the finishing from Northwich was excellent.

Men against boys in the first half, better in the second but far too late.

As with Burscough last week, it seems to take us half an hour before we get switched on to the pace of the game.Some of the defending was frankly embarrassing and our midfield's inability to hold onto the ball continually put pressure on the team in the final third.

I won't take anything away from Northwich, Jim Gannon's put together a strong squad , exactly what you need to get out of this league.

The only positives we take take were our second half performance, but Vic had taken their foot off the gas by then.

Where we go from here, I don't know.

It is pretty obvious we haven't the players to compete, I'm starting to question some of the preparation and standing next to our bench,I just don't how the players are expected to listen to four differing viewpoints being shouted from the sidelines.
Worrying times ahead, effectively five points adrift having only beaten a team who have yet to get a point this season.
Dare I say it, maybe bigger changes are needed.
