Pacey's Finest?
If you could pick a best eleven during the Dave Pace era, who would get in it? Well, here's mine...
I'm going for a 4-4-2.
PHILO, Williams, Halford, Burke, Newton
Denham, Brown, Gardner, Morning.
Banim, Fearn.
Adam Morning may be a surprise, but I was struggling for a really decent left winger.

Looks a good side that, can't argue too much with that. Would you consider warner in his prime? Liam brownhill or Carl ruffer? And Tony gray

Jimmy Haarhoff, steve bunter, wes kinney and that keeper that scored all the pens one season. They were all worth a mention

Re: Pacey's Finest?
big cammy, Dave Cameron up front is worth a mention as is the quiet man defender Lee Roche
we have been lucky having been able to watch all these great players over the years, too many
for me to recall really and i would'nt disagree with any of those line up's
my favourite one at the moment is the one starting on Saturday against Spennymoor especially
if they get us the three points
Ciaran has been a fantastic player for us over the years and still is, still slamming in the goals
also i know he was a bit of a maverick, caused a few upsets with supporters and not everyones cup of tea but .........
Luke Holden could play on his day
i'll carry on thinking !

Re: Pacey's Finest?
Certainly agree with you on Killer. Let's hope we can keep him for next season. Just to put a few more names in the hat. Tony Gray, Jimmy Kelly who was a great signing the year we won the Conference North.Danny Warner was a great servant, as was Gareth Morris. One thing I think we all agree on, Jody was the finest to grace the Butchers Arms.
