Squad for this season
I see Bri has recently Tweeted names of players who have signed for us this season. Announced ones so far as follows:
Fernando Moke
Luke Sharry
George Bowyer
Joe Cooper
Dempsey Smith
Craig Ellison
Andy Langford
Nathan Haynes
Chris Middleton
Danny Ting
MJMonaghan
George Whiteoak
Robert Doran
Josh Sumner
Daniel Parkinson
Shaquille Ashley Clake Adams
Steve Hall
Ben McNamara
Michael Pino
Ones in bold are ones retained from last season. Pleased we've kept Monaghan, Hall, Moke and Ellison. Not sure why we've kept Doran.
Doesn't seem like we've replaced Killer yet Unless Moke steps up a bit, which could well happen.
Anybody know much about the others? How've they looked in pre season?

Re: Squad for this season
We seem to be quite obsessed with Congleton for some reason...four of our new signings have come from there (Whiteoak, Langford, Haynes and Middleton)
To be fair, Middleton scored 10 goals last season, seems a bit of a character as he won the awards for Player Most Likely to Spit his Dummy Out and Biggest Ego. Haynes was voted Committees Player Of The Year and runner up in Supporters Vote. Whiteoak was voted Best Looking Player (he was also being scouted by Liverpool and Spurs four years ago!). Langford did a solid job for us in the BSN as I recall a few years ago.
Cooper and Bowyer made their professional debuts in the Football League. Cooper quit professional football to study economics and Bowyer's recent clubs include Ramsbottom and Bamber Bridge.
Shaquille Clark Adams is a left winger who spent last season at Brighouse. Has also previously played for Ossett Town and Wakefield.
Cannot find much on Michael Pino, other than one article saying he is a "playmaker" (Crewe Chronicle) and then the Crewe website saying he is a defender. Either way, he was released by them at the end of last season.
Dempsey Smith looks good on this video, but it is over three years old:

Re: Squad for this season
Robert Doran and George Whiteoak have left the club by mutual consent. Matty Burke has signed for the start of the season.
James Hampson(Forward) and Daniel Grimshaw (Left back / midfield) have joined the club

Re: Squad for this season
Doran won't be much of a loss. Never saw Whiteoak!
We seem to have moved on from raiding Congleton to raiding New Mills instead.
In fact, Hampson scored the winner against us for New Mills last season...lets hope he can do the same for us tomorrow!
(Grimshaw captained New Mills in that game)
Another ex New Mills player...Daniel Douglas-Pringle has also signed for us. Scored 8 goals last season according to their website.
Young midfielder Joseph Mullen has also signed for the club...cannot find anything on him though.
